Someone tried to break into my house yesterday, in the middle of the day. Luckily, it appears the alarm scared them off. I set it up because a friend’s band was on it and then a couple of other friends mentioned they were on it, so I filled in some information, but despite the fact that I’m participating, it all seems rather silly.

In browsing some profiles I wonder if it’s wrong to laugh at how seriously some people take themselves and/or their myspace.com profile.

It makes me curious…myspace.com profiles, blogs, personal websites…
are they really just the poor man’s 15 minutes of fame?
